Sizes available in Tubular SOTHANE are as follows,
3/16" dia. Used for light duty drives.
1/4" dia. Used for light duty drives and conveying.
5/16" and 3/8" dia. Used for medium duty drives and conveying.
1/2" dia. Used for medium - heavy duty drives and conveying.
Solid or tubular SOTHANE can be used to replace Vee belts in certain applications.
'SOTHANE' polyurethane belting can be joined by a metal connector for the tubular
sizes or by using a heat welding kit for all types, all of which are available.
Belt tension up to 8% is acceptable dependable on operating conditions. 'SOTHANE'
is unaffected by water and oil, and will not absorb fats or grease, can be used on
misaligned pulleys and where only the drive pulley is grooved.
Sizes available in PU Vee are as follows,
Z section (10x6) - A section (13x8) - B section (17x11) as standard
Vee sections all sizes are supplied on reels or cut lengths.
